The selling party, G Fong, LLC and the new registrar of GadgetBoost.com complete transfer of GadgetBoost.com

The sale of the assets of Gadgetboost.com closed on July 17, 2011 after a 75 day cooling period to an undisclosed party registered in China. The selling party, G Fong, LLC, sold the rights to the domain at auction. For inquiries regarding outstanding patent requests for GadgetBoost.com product line, please contact the trustee inluded in the purchases package provided at the time of initial inquiry. Licensing the GadgetBoost.com name and/or questions relating to Domain registration information is maintained by the domain name registries, which contract with domain registrars to provide registration services to the public.

The beneficiary has selected a registrar to provide the registration service, and that registrar becomes the designated registrar for the domain chosen by the user.

Only the designated registrar may modify or delete information about domain names in a central registry database. It is not unusual for an end user to switch registrars, invoking a domain transfer process between the registrars involved, that is governed by specific domain name transfer policies.

A domain name transfer is the process of changing the designated registrar of a domain name. ICANN has defined a Policy on Transfer of Registrations between Registrars The usual process of a domain name transfer is:

The end user verifies that the whois admin contact info is correct, particularly the email address; obtains the authentication code (EPP transfer code) from the old registrar, and removes any domain lock that has been placed on the registration. If the whois information had been out of date and is now updated, the end-user should wait 12-24 hours before proceeding further, to allow time for the updated data to propagate.

The end user contacts the new registrar with the wish to transfer the domain name to their service, and supplies the authentication code.

The gaining Registrar must obtain express authorization from either the Registered Name Holder or the Administrative Contact. A transfer may only proceed if confirmation of the transfer is received by the gaining Registrar from one of these contacts. The authorization must be made via a valid Standardized Form of Authorization, which may be sent e.g. by e-mail to the e-mail addresses listed in the WHOIS. The Registered Name Holder or the Administrative Contact must confirm the transfer. The new registrar starts electronically the transfer of the domain with the help of the authentication code (auth code).
The old registrar will contact the end user to confirm the authenticity of this request. The end user may have to take further action with the old registrar, such as returning to the online management tools, to re-iterate their desire to proceed, in order to expedite the transfer.
The old registrar will release authority to the new registrar.
The new registrar will notify the end user of transfer completion. The new registrar may have automatically copied over the domain server information, and everything on the website will continue to work as before. Otherwise, the domain server information will need to be updated with the new registrar.

After this process, the new registrar is the domain name's designated registrar. The process may take about five days. In some cases, the old registrar may intentionally delay the transfer as long as allowable. After transfer, the domain cannot be transferred again for 60 days, except back to the previous registrar.

It is unwise to attempt to transfer a domain immediately before it expires. In some cases, a transfer can take up to 14 days, meaning that the transfer may not complete before the registration expires. This could result in loss of the domain name registration and failure of the transfer. To avoid this, end users should either transfer well before the expiration date, or renew the registration before attempting the transfer.

If a domain registration expires, irrespective of the reason, it can be difficult, expensive, or impossible for the original owner to get it back. After the expiration date, the domain status often passes through several management phases, often for a period of months; usually it does not simply become generally available.

GSM iPhone owners express frustration with buzzing sound that is transmitted through the speaks - GadgetBoost.com has a solution

When compared to CDMA phones (Verizon version of the iPhone 4) that don't have this buzzing sound it has been determined that the root cause is the frequent off and on of the transmitter that automatically takes place with GSM phones.  Verizon iPhones, because their transmitter is on most of the time, don't have this issue that the pulsing effect causes.

A quick an inexpensive solution is to reduce the interference and thus reduce the GSM buzz by extending the iPhone away from its dock or speakers.  The Slim iPhone iPod iPad Dock Extender Adapter from GadgetBoost.com is an Apple Dock 30-pin Male to 30-pin Female spacer adapter that does just that by extending the iPhone an inch away from the cock or speaker.  This small gap reduces the interference just enough to greatly improve the listening quality.

GadgetBoost.com offers a portfolio of additional products that help extend your iPhone above its dock and reduce internference:

iPhone 3G 4G Touch Easy KickStand Belt Clip Holder

Our slim dock extender allows for iPod Touch extension out of a docking station where the slot is too small on your charging and docking station. And the DockExtender Boost is so slim that it frees up the bottom of your iPod Touch where the audio jack is and makes it compatible with several other fun devices and mounts, allowing you to blast your music on any stereo system or radio. These mp3 player extenders make iPod Touch charging and docking simpler than ever before!

Yes, don’t ever forget that your iPhone is much more than just a phone and is capable of endless possibilities. Extend your iPhone’s abilities far beyond what you thought possible. Using our DockExtender Boost iPhone extenders, you will be shocked at what your iPhone can do. home ^

Will the the dock extender work with my stereo dock?

Yes. Until we came along with our extender, your iPhone wasn’t compatible with every fun device out there and that’s why we created the DockExtender Boost iPhone dock extenders. The DockExtender Boost is here to solve all your incompatibility issues making your iPhone virtually invincible. The DockExtender Boost is slim and uses the same compact iPod or iPhone plug as found on the standard docking cable from Apple, so you can use it with any cases that have a dock connector opening. All 30 pins are passed through, so all iPod and iPhone features works as well.

So, get out there and start extending your iPhone far beyond what any other phone is capable of!

    home ^

When did you start selling the dock extender?

We have been selling it for almost 2 years. I still have the notes I took on my laphome that were compiled from a list of customer service questions, messages board posts, customer phone interviews and market research that helped me make the decision that the DockExtender Boost was the product to build GadgetBoost.com from. There are a few other devices out there, but none of them have a combination of both the amount of research and customer input and working on almost every iPod iPhone and iPad dock combination available today.

    home ^

I have an iPod Nano and iPod Touch where the audio jack is on the bottom and covered up by my dock accessories and mounts, can the dock extender solve my problem?

Yes. If you have an iPod Nano or an iPod Touch where the audio jack is on the bottom and covered up by all those other fun devices and mounts we created this device just for you. And even better, the DockExtender Boost is both slim and available in seven colors - allowing it to fashionably fit with any iPod/iPhone and case/dock combination. Just plug it in the adapter and extend your iPod and iPhone dock 30 pin connection...its so simple and about time!!

No need for a silly hacked right angle connector (we have heard horror stories about receiving 3/4 of an audio connector that has been filed down with a product that is suppose to be new) for tight fitting audio connection once a extender is attached.

The DockExtender Boost is slim enough and designed to fit all cases/covers including the OtterBox, iPhone Bumper, Element, Vipor, Ballistic Hardcore and almost any other without an extra right angle connector. Your DockExtender Boost uses the same compact iPod or iPhone plug as found on the standard docking cable from Apple, so it's compatible cases that have a dock connector opening. All 30 pins are passed through, so any other iPod feature works too!

Slim dimensions of DockExtender Boost: .215 thick x 1.05" width x length .890

    home ^

Our 4th Generation iExtendIt Dock Extender DOES fit Otterbox Defender for iPhone 3G/3GS and Bumper case for iPhone 4 and because it is so slim, no need for a silly elbow adapter. Just plug and play!

As if that wasn’t enough, we even give you seven different colors to chose so don’t worry if you already purchased an expensive stereo docking station that doesn’t work with your iPhone, because the DockExtender Boost will make this problem a thing of the past. This product allows for extension out of the docking station where the slot is too small for your iPhone. And of course we made it compatible for all iPhone models... yes, even your shiny and brand new soon to be released iPhone 5! So, get out there and start extending your iPhone far beyond what any other phone is capable of!
