Our Personalized DockBoost Slim 30-pin Dock Extender for iPhone, iPod and iPad is a spacer adapter for Apple's 30-pin dock connector. Our extender allows Apple's iOS devices to connect with various 30-pin cables and docks while in a case. For example, Apple's Bumper case has a fairly narrow opening and unless you're using the newest version of Apple's 30-pin cables, you're unlikely to make a solid connection. We intentionally created a simple product that does exactly what it is designed to do with no fuss - a small adapter with a male dock connector jack on one end and a female connection slot on the other—is the key component. Think of it a shortz extension iPhone cord or plug. Accounting for your iPod’s case is where the usefulness of the Dock Extender really shines. You’re probably well aware that most cases have to be removed before the iPod can slip into a dock product. Since the Dock Extender’s Universal Dock insert raises the connector above the dock’s indentation, you’ll no longer have to remove the case, provided your case provides access to the port on the bottom of your iPod.

The slim Dock Extender gives your iPod, iPad and iPhone a nice little lift. Cases like the thick Marware Sportsuit case slip snugly down over the top of your iPod and enclose around the bottom. Without the Dock Extender, you either had to tug it completely off, or squeeze the bottom of it up high enough to fit into the dock indentation.
