Why iExtend My Apple iPhone Dock with a Dock Extender

There are many reasons you might want to use an extender cable to dock your iPhone or iPod – the most obvious of course being the Apple-supplied dock cable is too short for your needs. But for me a far more common issue is having an older accessory with a dock connection (speaker, car charger, stereo etc.) that I wish to to hook up my iPhone to, and it just doesn’t fit. That’s where the DockBoost Extender for iPod iPhone and iPad comes to the rescue.

Blast from the Past!  Remembering my 1st gen Mophie Juice Pack charging my 3G iPhone

Many of us who fell in love with our Mophie Juice Packs for our first gen iPhones were saddened to see that Apple’s curved-back 3G model no longer fits in the device. Fortunately the DockBoost Extender for iPod iPhone and iPad does the trick in a pinch, and I can use it to charge my old 3G iPhone via the Juice Pack while Extender for iPhonedriving or my neighbor plays games on it. With so many colors to choose from and the ability to personalize the dock extender for the iPhone you extend its kinda pretty and works like a charm.

The dock extender comes in both black, white, gray, red, yellow, green, blue, tron green, and soft touch and has a width of only 1 inch. So far, out of the 4000+ that we have sold, the dock extender works flawlessly. One of our customers was concerned after  iPhone to an old iHome alarm clock.  She initially experienced some static in the audio playback, but it turns out she did not have the dock situated properly.  So when you extend it, extend it good.

The iPhone is arguably one of the most beautiful mobile phones available today and it’s only natural to want to protect all that shiny goodness. Unfortunately a majority of the cases out there don’t fit in the iPhone’s dock, forcing you to either remove the case every time you want to charge, or neglecting the dock and merely using the cable. Thankfully the we have come up with the Dock Extender which lets you dock your iPhone while keeping it inside of a case.

The Dock Extender is an ingenious little device. Put simply, it extends the iPhone’s (or iPod’s) dock port so that it can dock without the need to remove a protective case. The only requirement of the case is that it allows access to the dock port. If you have that, you’re in business. Our dock extender is available in so many colors and has become an indispensable accessory for anyone using a case on their iPhone.  Having received the thumbs up from our most important critics (our customers) and even being recommended by a few Apple site to be with the Apple Universal Dock - we couldn't be more proud!   The Dock Extender is a spacer adapter for Apple's 30-pin dock connector. We've seen a couple of these recently and the they all follow our idea of allowing Apple's iOS devices to connect with various 30-pin cables and docks while in a case. For example, Apple's Bumper case has a fairly narrow opening and unless you're using the newest version of Apple's 30-pin cables, you're unlikely to make a solid connection. Apple's older and many third-party connectors are larger and may not fit into the 30-pin cut out.
